Current Projects

My primary methodological areas of interest are Bayesian hierarchical modeling, dependent data (spatial statistics, time series, and functional data analysis), and adaptive clinical trials. I am interested in many application areas. Currently, I am working on projects that fall into one or more of the following areas:

  • Dose escalation trials
  • Using historical and natural history data for early-phase clinical trials.
  • Modeling biodiversity.
  • Developing valid (cross-)covariance models for Gaussian process models in various geometries.
  • Dependent point processes with applications in public policy and traffic engineering.
  • Applied veterinary science.
  • Applied environmental, ecological, and climate data problems.
